process safety and others. The
program ended successfully fostering core engineering skills of the

energy from reactor outlet product by cooling it in a series of five
exchangers. The exothermic heat of reactor outlet is utilized to produce
hot water which in turn is used in vapor absorption machine to produce
chilled water. The chilled water thus produced is used in condensers in
plant. Spectra won the job from a major Maharastra based Specialty
Chemicals company. Energy integration project was envisaged while
working on basic engineering of continuous product purification project
previously awarded by the client company. The outcome of the energy
integration project was heat recovery up to about 30,00,000 Kcal/hr.
